"***Amended review*** Since leaving my initial review in regards to the outstanding service from the agency office, I need to share my experience with the underwriter for the homeowners policy. If you like to use reclaimed materials, as I have chosen to do, especially cosmetic rust on corrugated tin, you will be asked to replace with bright shiny and new before they will cover you. Doesn't matter if you paid cash for a new roof on a 2200 sq ft house and have never filed a claim, if you selected to use reclaimed materials in your porch coverings, now you are being forced to conform. In addition to the house, I was told to tear down my horses loafing shed. This won't be a problem if THEY build a new one at their expense. We know that's not gonna happen! State Farm, while you may be good in your auto coverage, the dictatorship approach to the guidelines for homeowners coverage is not for me. So, with YOUR decision to not cover my house, MY decision will be for you to not cover the autos either. *** In searching for a new insurance company, I received a call from Norma, following up to an online request sent to numerous companies. In talking with Norma, I found her very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and extremely thorough. What started out as a search for a new homeowners policy, resulted in home and 3 autos being moved to State Farm. No hassle in making the switch. Very smooth transition. It was Norma's communication skills that resulted in all the insurance needs going her way."
